  • Best Theatrical Performance and Second Best Director for the play "The Clown" at the Zefta Festival (2013).

Hosam Halim


Screenwriter of Christian films about the lives of saints, such as “The Pilgrim” and “A Guest from Heaven”, as well as the film “A New Beginning” which addresses marital conflicts.

Contributed to writing TV series such as “Before the Premiere” and “Just a Moment, Please”, and the film “The Wedding Party”.

Wrote dramatic episodes for the radio program “Uncle Gram”.

Omar Ali

Born in Damascus (1992), and graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo (2016).

His film “Coma” won four international awards, including Best Short Film at the Malmö and Rotterdam festivals.

Directed films such as “Awakening” (2018) and “The Visit” (2020), and his feature film project “Transit” (2020) received a Development Award from the Cairo Film Connection.

Participated in festivals such as Carthage and Cairo.

Peter Hanna

Second Place – Professionals

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Assiut University (2008) and received a European Union scholarship in screenwriting and directing.

Founded RE MED, a short film production company based in Upper Egypt.

Produced two films: “GIVE LOVE” and “Taxi MALAKY”.

Wrote the screenplay for the TV series “It Happened Well” (SAT-7).

Authored two books: “One Failed and His Reform” and “Letters from Heaven”.

Baraa Zoreq

First Place – Professionals

Syrian writer and director (born in 1991), graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus (2016).

Worked in journalism and cinema as an assistant director with filmmakers such as Joud Said and Soudade Kaadan.

Her debut short film won two awards in 2019.

Contributed to writing TV series such as “Barzakh” and “Al-Wasm”.

Natalia Shaoul

Natalia Shaoul is a Lebanese director and writer. She has worked on TV series such as “Psychological Warfare” and “Anbar 2”, as well as short films like “1995”. In 2021, she founded Boosting Leb, a digital marketing company.

Elissar Zein El-Din

Elissar Zein El-Din is a Lebanese Arabic language teacher and linguistic editor. She has taught Arabic in both Kuwait and Lebanon, and has written scripts for Arabic TV series. She founded the project "Influ_e_fann_cer" to support Arab writers and artists.

Ne'ma Anissi

Ne'ma Anissi is a Lebanese writer and actor. He presented the play “A Kind Act” in October 2024, participated in writing and theater workshops, and earned a diploma in filmmaking.

Wrote and directed a short film titled “Scenes from Memory”, which won First Prize at the Aswan International Women Film Festival in 2024.

Screenwriter and journalist who won First Place at the Sharm El-Sheikh Theater Festival for his play “The Secret of the Enchanted Forest”.

Also received First Place at the Sharm El-Sheikh Youth Theater Festival for the same play, and was honored for his role in preparing the festival’s press bulletin and participating in film events such as the Cairo International Film Festival.
